Here is a short list of actions that are to be performed in order to configure the joystick buttons. Detailed information on how to use the Windows OS registry can be found in the Appendix 3. Relevant information on using Windows operating system section of Administrator’s Guide.
Assign commands to the joystick buttons in the Windows OS registry as follows:
Assign the name to the string parameter, identical to the number of the joystick button in the Windows OS.
Activate the autofocusing option.
Set the autopan endpoint.
Start the autopan.
Set the autopan start point.
Stop the autopan.
Clear the selected preset.
Disable additional dynamic settings for Panasonic PTZ cameras for improving an analog video signal.
Enable additional dynamic settings for Panasonic PTZ cameras for improving an analog video signal.
Rotate the camera lens down.
Focusing the image in.
Focusing the image out.
Stop focusing the image in/out.
Rotate the video camera to the position set in N preset.
Rotate the video camera to the initial (home) position.
Close the iris diaphragm.
Open the iris diaphragm.
Stop the iris diaphragm.
Rotate the camera lens left.
Rotate the camera lens left and down.
Rotate the camera lens left and up.
Start the programming procedure of patrolling by learning the video camera behavior.
Rotate the camera lens right.
Rotate the camera lens right and down.
Rotate the camera lens right and up.
Save the current position of the video camera in the selected preset.
Stop the the camera lens rotation.
Rotate the camera lens up.
Repeat steps 2-4 for each joystick button to which the command is to be assigned.
Joystick buttons are now configured.
